Topic: Lockdown should be lifted
The lockdown and social distancing should be lifted with immediate effect as before the lockdown the COVID 19 was predicted to have a case fatality ratio (CFR) 3.8% 1 and rate of transmission i.e RO (2-2.5)1 but now the recent data suggest the CFR is 0.1%2 , 3 which is akin to the seasonal flu and rate of transmission (RO) to be 2-2.5 which is similar to common cold4 as is far less deaths than tuberculosis with CFR 5.16%5 and RO as 105 We must update that in India every year more than 3.4 lakh7 people die due to tuberculosis.
