The S.M.A.R.T. Chart Explained: How to Match Your Symptoms to the Right Natural Therapy at Home

A guide to what Dr. Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury’s self-healing framework actually teaches — and why millions of Indians are turning to it.

There’s a moment every family knows. Someone falls sick at home -fever, body ache, sudden weakness and the first instinct is panic. Rush to a clinic. Pop a painkiller. Do something, anything.

Dr. Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury believes that instinct, while understandable, is often unnecessary. And he’s built an entire framework to prove it.

The S.M.A.R.T. Chart — which stands for Self Monitoring And Rapid Treatment — is one of the most practically useful tools in Indian home healthcare today. It maps 25 common symptoms to 7 natural therapies using a simple color-coded dot system any family member can follow.

What the Chart Actually Does

Dr. BRC’s core belief is straightforward: the human body has an extraordinary capacity to heal itself when given the right inputs. Most everyday symptoms — pain, fever, nausea, fatigue, are not emergencies. They are signals. The S.M.A.R.T. Chart teaches you to read those signals and respond intelligently, at home, without drugs.

The chart lists 25 symptoms across the top. These include:

Fever, Headache, Body Pain, Joint Pain, Back Pain, Weakness, Fatigue, Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Constipation, Acidity, Cough, Cold, Breathlessness, Skin Issues, Burning Sensation, Swelling, Anxiety, Insomnia, Loss of Appetite, Blood Pressure Fluctuation, Blood Sugar Spike, Chest Discomfort, and General Malaise.

Against each symptom, coloured dots indicate which of the 7 therapies apply  and how strongly.

The V.I.B.G.Y.O.R (7 Coloured dots) on the Chart

Dr. BRC has identified seven foundational natural interventions represented with coloured dots that address most acute and chronic symptoms without medical intervention

  1. Time as Medicine (Violet dot): Short structured fasting windows that allow the gut and immune system to reset, mealtime between 8AM to 6PM, following body’s biological clock for sleeping & eating.
  2. DIP Diet (Dark Blue dot): Raw fruits and vegetables that flood the body with live enzymes and nutrition
  3. Earthing or zero-volt therapy (Sky Blue dot): Bare feet on natural ground to reduce inflammation and restore electrical balance.
  4. Lower Leg Hot Water Immersion (Green dot): Soak your lower legs at 42 degress hot water for 30 minutes and all viral, bacterial infections causing fever will vanish. Pain will be gone.
  5. Hot Water Immersion (Yellow dot):  Soak your body up-to neck in 40 degrees warm water for 30 minutes to 2hrs depending on the ailment. Gravity, water & heat will heal your body by releasing toxins & achieving pressure & temperature equilibrium within the body
  6. Panchakarma Therapy (Orange dot with a white hole): Ayurvedic Panchkarma techniques that works on nervous system, muscular system, vascular system. hormonal system; eliminating toxins and rejuvenating body cells ultimately bringing in long term healing of the body.
  7. Neem Therapy (Red Dot) : Reintroducing ancient pharmacy and power of neem for reversing and curing diseases.

How the Dot System Works

Each symptom column on the chart carries coloured dots against each therapy.

For example: Fever shows Green & Red dot which means whenever you are down with fever; immediately follow Lower Leg Hot Water Immersion & take Neem leaves (whole fresh leaves/ powdered depending on the availability) through out the day along with Mandatory Protocol represented by V.I.B dots meaning Violet- Indigo- Blue dots that stand for Time as Medicine, DIP diet & Zeo Volt therapy.

Similarly for Pain; VIB colours is mandatory protocol. Additionally, Orange & red dot protocols are to be followed. Which means for addressing Pain (arthritis pain, headache, migraine, wound pain or any other pain in the body) the following therapies should be followed by one and all: Time as Medicine (Eating window 8AM to 6PM), DIP diet, Zero Volt therapy. Additionally appropriate panchakarma therapy and Neem leaf (dosage 1 leaf/10kg of your body weight/ powder (dosage 1gm/10kg of your body weight with water should be consumed twice a day. This is to be followed till you are completely pain free.

Dr. BRC’s point is not that one therapy fits all. It’s that the right combination, matched to the right symptom, consistently outperforms the reflexive reach for medication.

Why This Matters Right Now

India is sitting on a chronic disease crisis. Diabetes, hypertension, CKD, cancer, lifestyle disorders – all exploding. Dr. BRC argues these aren’t diseases of bad luck. They are diseases of wrong inputs. Change the inputs, change the outcome.

The S.M.A.R.T. Chart is his attempt to put that power back into ordinary hands, every Indian home, every family, every person who deserves to understand their own body before surrendering it to a prescription pad.
